We often think of cauliflower as a side vegetable but it can be delicious when served as a cream. For a quick and easy starter, try this recipe made with only 5 ingredients.
Grilling the entire cauliflower is a simple and original way to present this vegetable. This recipe is perfect when receiving guests, or to simply turn an ordinary weekly dinner into something more extraordinary. The leftovers are delicious in a salad or a sandwich.
Creamy White Sauce
Cauliflower is great to reduce the fat content of a white sauce or to make a vegan version of it. Cut the cauliflower in florets, steam them and mash them smooth in a food processor. Add broth, milk (or vegan beverage) and some seasonings. You will then have a creamy sauce made from vegetables, a pure delight!
To reduce the amount of carbohydrates in your daily consumption or just for the sake of changing things up, cauliflower rice is trending. Simply cut it in florets, then place the pieces into the food processor and pulse until it looks like small grains of rice. Then, in a pan, cook the « rice » in a drizzle of olive oil and seasonings to your liking.
