Quebec fruit lassis

ingredients

  • 250 ml (1 cup) Quebec cantaloupe cubes, or
  • 250 ml (1 cup) Quebec blueberries, or
  • 250 ml (1 cup) Quebec strawberries or raspberries
  • 250 ml (1 cup) vanilla yogurt*
  • 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp.) cardamom powder
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp.) coarsely chopped fresh mint
  • 5 ml (1 tsp.) minced fresh tarragon

* The vanilla yogurt can be replaced with plain yogurt and 15 to 30 ml (1 to 2 tbsp.) maple syrup or honey.

Preparation

  1. Choose whatever fruit you prefer or let your imagination run wild.
  2. Beat in the rest of the ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy!
