- 4 slices of foie gras of about 75 g, cut in half
- 2 Quebec apples
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) Quebec maple syrup
- Fresh ground pepper
- Cut the apples into 8 square-shaped slices. On a grill or a cast iron pan, sear the apple slices and put aside. Heat a frying pan on high heat. Sear the slices of foie gras. Cook the slices of foie gras on both sides until they are golden brown. Drain the excess fat. Deglaze the pan with the maple syrup. Remove from the heat.
- Place a piece of foie gras on each slice of apple. Glaze with the maple syrup sauce.
